The mail sorting process of Merak Mailroom is always conducted in accordance with your specific needs and wishes. Our experts will work with you to see what we need to look out for.
How do we recognise letters for certain employees or services? How should we deliver the digitised documents to those individuals? Are there any letters that we cannot open? And so on.
We always think along with you to identify the most efficient way of working and to improve any pain points.
Receiving the mail
In addition, the reception of your incoming mail is organised in consultation with you. We can pick up the mail from you or Bpost will take it directly to Merak. We sort your documents from the word go in line with the arrangements agreed with you.
Sorting
After opening the envelopes, the correspondence is digitised. We can scan in colour, black and white and with or without text recognition.
We give the digital letters the desired document name and assign them to the appropriate person or department.
Distribution
As soon as everything is digitised and checked, we'll get the scanned letters to you. Depending on your wishes, we will put the files on your FTP server, send them via e-mail or add them via the digital archive tool Merak Archive Online if you want to use them. Find out more about Merak Archive Online. Afterwards, you will also receive a report of all the processed mail.
After processing
What happens next to the paper mail is up to you. We offer an all-in service. If you still want to keep the original letters physically, we can archive them for you.
